A man who died following an incident on Tontine Street in Hanley on Saturday 8 February has been named as Terry Findler.
Mr Findler aged 52, from Knutton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, was taken to hospital following a reported assault but sadly died.
A 28-year-old man from Hanley, initially arrested on suspicion of assault has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. He has now been bailed until March 8.
