Man charged with Burton burglary

A 43-year-old man from Burton has been charged with burglary.
Darren Maltby, of Ladywell Close, Stretton, has been charged with burglary other than dwelling – theft and possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.
The charges relates to a break-in which took place at a business on Cross Street in the town on Sunday 2 February.
Maltby has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Friday 14 February).
