Detectives are appealing for information after a burglary in Stoke-on-Trent where presents and cash were stolen from an elderly woman.
The incident happened at around 7pm last night (23 December) in Bowman Grove, Fegg Hayes.
Two men broke into a house and pushed an elderly woman against the wall while they searched the property and took wrapped presents and cash.
The woman, who is in her 80s was not injured but was shaken up by the incident and is being cared for by family.
One of the men is described as wearing a long brown raincoat. They are believed to have had Irish accents.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 or via social media referring to incident 568 of 23 December.
