Police are now in a position to name the man who sadly died following a road traffic collision in Newcastle-under-Lyme on Friday (7 August).
Shaun Warren, aged 53, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, was riding his green Kawasaki motorcycle on Parkhouse Road when he was involved in a collision near the junction with Rosevale Road.
Despite the efforts of members of emergency service staff, Shaun was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Specialist officers are supporting his family. They have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
Detectives from Staffordshire Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. They are appealing for relevant dash-cam footage or for anyone travelling towards the A34 roundabout at the time of the incident to contact them on 101, or report online, quoting incident 269 of 7 August.
