A man has been charged after a man was stabbed in Rugeley yesterday morning.
Police were called at 11am to reports that a man was being assaulted at a property on Coppice Road. A 55-year-old man received three stab wounds and was take to the Royal Stoke University Hospital by ambulance. He has since been discharged from hospital.
Robert Park, 41, of Coppice Road, Rugeley, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
Park appeared before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre this morning and has been remanded in custody. He will appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 25 September.
