A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a non-stop road traffic collision in Talke, Stoke-on-Trent.
Police were called to reports of a collision at 11pm last night (Monday 17 August) at the junction of Coalpit Hill and Coppice Road involving a red Saab and a black Yamaha motorcycle. The driver of the car drove off from the scene but was arrested a short time later.
The motorcylist, a 27-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, received serious leg injuries and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital by ambulance.
The 41-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, arrested remains in custody.
