Four men and a teenager have been charged following a stabbing in Great Haywood.
Just after 1pm on Tuesday (18 August) emergency services were called to a property on Abbeyfields. A 19-year-old man was found with stab wounds and remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Shane Michael Stretton, aged 35, of Young Avenue, Tillington, Stafford, has been charged with wounding with intent, aggravated burglary, failing to provide specimen for analysis, using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance and two counts of driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
Kian Markalan Chevelleau, aged 19, of Friar Street, Stafford, has been charged with wounding with intent, aggravated burglary and possession of a controlled drug of Class B.
Kifle Deandre Nugent, aged 21, of Badgers Croft, Derrington, Stafford, and Billy Willday, aged 18, of John Donne Street, Tillington, Stafford, have both been charged with wounding with intent and aggravated burglary.
A 16-year-old boy from Stafford, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has also been charged with wounding with intent and aggravated burglary.
They are due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre this morning (20 August).
