A man has been charged following an investigation into a fatal road traffic collision in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The incident took place on Pitgreen Lane at around 12.20am on Saturday 23 March 2019. Forty-seven year old pedestrian Jeanette Bourne was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Matthew Salt, aged 20, of Longshaw Avenue in Newcastle-under-Lyme has now been charged with causing death by careless driving.
He will appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre in June.
