Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Burton-on-Trent.
At approximately 3.30pm today (16 September) a pedestrian was in collision with a car on Uxbridge Street.
The pedestrian, a six-year-old girl, was seriously injured. She has been taken to the Alder Hay Children’s Hospital in Liverpool by Air Ambulance.
The driver of the car, a white Vauxhall Meriva, was not believed to have been injured.
Witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage are asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 403 of 16 September.
