Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with serious injuries after being assaulted in Cannock
A man in his 40s has been left with serious head injuries after four men assaulted him outside JKS Bar & Bistro on High Green in Cannock at around 4.20am on Sunday (1 September).
The men made off from the scene and the man was taken to New Cross Hospital.
Investigative Officer Stephen Meakin, from force CID, said: “This was a serious assault that left a man with severe head injuries after spending the night with his friends.
“Anyone with information, or anyone who may have dash-cam footage such as taxis nearby, are asked to call 101 quoting incident number 147 of 1 September.
“Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
