Detectives are carrying out an investigation into the circumstances around the death of a woman in Stoke-on-Trent.
The body of a woman in her 40s was found at a property on Meere Close in Norton at around 12.50pm on 9 September. The death is currently unexplained and a cordon has been set up while detectives and forensic officers carry out an examination of the scene.
A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the death and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
