Detectives investigating an incident in Stafford where a woman sustained a serious injury to her leg are appealing for witnesses.
A 21-year-old woman was at an event at Tillington Hall Hotel on Friday 20 September when she received a deep cut to the rear of her right leg at around 11.20pm. The cut was around 30cm long and required surgery.
DC Sarah Pritchard, of CID, said: "We're carrying out enquiries into the incident which includes examining CCTV and speaking to people who attended the event. However, we still need anyone with any information relating to the incident to come forward to help us with the investigation. The victim sustained a very serious injury and we're keen to find out how and why it happened."
