Detectives have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent.
Emergency services were called at 4.25pm this afternoon (13 September) to a footpath off Furlong Road, known as the greenway.
A man in his thirties was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A police cordon is in place in the area as enquiries continue this evening.
