Detectives are investigating a report of a serious sexual assault in Hanley and are appealing to the public to come forward with any information.
A woman was sexually assaulted on Union Street at around 7pm on Monday (25 November).
Detective Inspector Lucy Maskew, from force CID, said: “An investigation is on-going but we are appealing to the public to get in touch if they have any information that may be able to assist.
“We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was driving or on foot in the Union Street area between 6.50pm and 7.25pm or anyone who may have been travelling on Waterloo Road between Hanley town centre and Adelaide Street between 7.15pm and 7.45pm. Anyone who may have dash cam footage is also asked to get in touch.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101, direct message us on Facebook or Twitter or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 211 of 25 November.”
