A woman who was injured in a road traffic collision in Essington last month has sadly died in hospital.
Officers were called to the road traffic collision involving two vehicles, a Fiat Panda and a Saab, on Warstone Road at around 4.45pm on 19 November.
Colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene and the occupants of the Fiat Panda, a man and woman aged in their eighties, were taken to New Cross hospital. The driver from the Saab was uninjured.
Sadly, the woman from the Fiat Panda died in hospital on 28 November.
An investigation is underway and officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or may have dash-cam footage, is asked to call 101 quoting incident 528 of 19 November or by emailing [email protected].
