A teenager from Stoke-on-Trent has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in the city on Sunday (1 December).
The 17-year-old was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and will appear before magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme tomorrow (4 December).
The victim, a 16-year-old boy from the local area, is recovering in hospital and his condition is described as stable.
The investigation is on-going, and anyone with any information is asked to contact 101, quoting incident number 703 of 01 December.
