Police are now in a position to name the man who sadly lost his life in a road traffic collision near Shareshill on Monday (2 December).
Laxman Swali, aged 28, from Wolverhampton, was driving a Peugeot 107 when it was in collision with a car transporter at 12.05pm.
Despite medical efforts sadly Laxman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Specialist officers are supporting his family at this difficult time.
Officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact 101, quoting incident 237 of 2 December.
