Alleged conduct
The Officer is alleged to have made a number of inappropriate and insulting remarks to a female officer of a sexual nature.
The Officer is also alleged to have made inappropriate and insulting remarks of a sexual nature to a second female officer.
The behaviour failed to meet the standards expected of police officers and breached the following Standards of Professional Behaviour:
Standard 2 - Authority, respect and courtesy
I will act with self-control and tolerance, treating members of the public and
colleagues with respect and courtesy. I will use my powers and authority lawfully and proportionately, and will respect the rights of all individuals.
Standard 9 - Discreditable Conduct
I will behave in a manner, whether on or off duty, which does not bring discredit on the police service or undermine public confidence in policing.
