Appeal for information following burglary in Perton

Perton Stolen Items.JPG

We are appealing for help to catch thieves who broke into a house in South Staffordshire on Sunday (10 June).

The break-in took place around 3.15am at a property in Perton. Thieves broke in through the front door and after an untidy search, took a number of high value oil paintings and jewellery.

DC Martin Smith from Staffordshire Police said: "Investigations are on-going but we are appealing for anyone in the Perton area who saw anything suspicious or anyone who may have information about the burglary to come forward and speak to officers.

"The items stolen had great sentimental value to the family and the jewellery that was taken was quite distinctive."

If you know where the stolen property is, or if you have any information relating to this burglary please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 156 of 10 June.

You can also report crime by contacting the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
