We are appealing for witnesses following an incident of indecent exposure in Burslem Park yesterday afternoon (11 January).

Officers were called to the park on Hamil Rd at around 4pm after we received reports of a man exposing himself in public. He made off through the park in the direction of Moorland Road.

The offender is described as a white male in his early twenties, of slim build and around 6ft tall. He was wearing a blue/grey top.

Inspector Mark Churton from Stoke North Local Policing Team, said: "We'd like to thank those members of the public that have provided information so far and reassure local residents that this is an isolated incident."

"We're following all lines of enquiry and doing everything that we can to locate and arrest the man. If anyone has any information please call us on 101 quoting incident is 475 of 11 January."
