Lord Lieutenant's Award - Constable Stephen WindridgeCitation

PC Windridge joined the force and hit the ground running! From day one his positive attitude and love for being a police officer has shone through. He joined shift one response and due to his excellent ability surrounding pro-activity, he has already been selected to join the Neighbourhood Action Team. He is an excellent all round police officer and demonstrates a natural ability to show compassion and high standards towards our communities and victims of crime, as recognised in a Proud of Our People certficate.

PC Windridge stands out as someone the force should be really proud of, he's a compassionate and dedicated officer who goes the extra mile for the victims he supports. Victims say that he listens and dosen't judge them. He often raises his concerns through the hub to ensure that vulnerable people are picked up. The emails and referrals he makes are detailed and comprehensive. He is quietly doing a fabulous job serving his community and we should be very proud of him. His positivity rubs off on others, he is a leader already without even realising it, an excellent mentor and will be a future leader in this organisation.
