Appeal for witnesses following assault in Cannock

We are appealing for witnesses to an assault which happened in the early hours of Saturday 3 June in the Cannock area.

The incident happened at around 3.40am on Church Street, just by the ramp to the back of the Prince of Wales Theatre which leads out onto the main road.

A man was assaulted by two men and received head injuries. During the assault, the man fell to the ground and was kicked to the point where he lost consciousness.

The two offenders are described as white males, one of whom is described as being mid to late 30's, 5ft 8in - 5ft 9in tall, wearing a white polo shirt and blue jeans.
