Appeal: Attempt robbery at Kidsgrove store

We are appealing for information after two male offenders attempted to rob Kidsgrove Convenience Store on King Street.

One entered the store at around 10.50pm on Sunday 14 May and threatened a member of staff with what is described as a blunt instrument, whilst the other waited outside. Fortunately the staff member was not injured.

The offender who entered the store was wearing dark-coloured clothing and had his face covered. The second offender also wore dark-coloured clothing, and a high viz jacket.

They fled the store empty-handed.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Staffordshire
