Operation 50-50 strikes in Lichfield

Three people are in custody this morning (Mon) after being arrested in connection with drug supply.

The three were arrested at two addresses on Upper St John Street in Lichfield after officers executed warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A large quantity of cannabis was recovered (amount and value to be determined) along with suspected CS spray and various weapons.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested at one address, and an 18-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man at the second address.

They will now be questioned by officers.

This morning's activity forms part of our new 50 day campaign of policing activity to demonstrate that criminals across the county are never safe from prosecution.
