Proud of our people nominations - Week to Friday 17 February 2017

Each week we will publish details of those colleagues nominated for their excellent work and dedication to the communities of Staffordshire.

An excellent customer service

On 15 February 2017 PCSO Emma Fry gave a general security presentation to our Faraday Road Stroke Support group. Without using notes PCSO Fry gave an extremely interesting and informative talk. She held their attention - not an easy task - and, while giving good personal security advice which was entirely suited to the age and abilities of her audience, she avoided causing her audience any concern. PCSO Fry gave out some personal security aids having clearly explained their possible uses.

An excellent talk. Very many thanks to PCSO fry and to her superiors for agreeing to the presentation.

Helping HandHelpful, sympathetic and reassuring service

It was a domestic violence attack on myself by my now ex-husband. A male and female officer attended. I would like to thank the officers.

It was a very stressful and upsetting time for me, I was very confused and the female officer in particular took the time to listen to me and explain things. I wasn't rushed or judged and this led me to pressing charges against my husband and the removal of him from my life.

I would like to thank everyone who was involved in my case and to let them know that 2 years on I have a new life and that is because of the care of those 2 officers. If you could possibly pass on my thanks to the officers I would be grateful.

Thank you PC Grant Lockett and PC Francesca James.
