Proud of our people nominations - Week to Friday 11 November 2016

Each week we will publish details of those colleagues nominated for their excellent work and dedication to the communities of Staffordshire.

You made us feel safe, thanks

Safe blueWould just like to say thanks to PC Alison Barker who made my friend and I feel safe Friday evening. A drunk male was following us and making derogatory comments, she pulled up to check we were okay and followed us the short walk home and waved us into our house. The male turned out to be a neighbour and she returned when it appeared he was trying to follow us into my home address. Unfortunately I didn't thank her personally but she definitely delivered the force's statement of making us feel safe. Thanks.

Extremely grateful to you for caring enough to help

A couple of weeks ago I made a complaint about the officer who first dealt with the incident I reported. Chief Inspector Maskrey and Sgt Adrian Smith have both been outstanding and I wish to sincerely thank them both. The incident has now been resolved to my satisfaction. I am extremely grateful to them both for caring enough to help me.

Professional and a credit to the force

Throughout their contact and investigations regarding threats by tenants being evicted, PC Victoria Morgan, PCSO Liam Kelly and PCSO Tracy Horton were helpful, understanding and very professional at every stage. They reassured us and kept us informed throughout. They explained that they would be on stand-by should anything occur on the date of eviction, which helped put our minds at ease. We were even contacted on the day the tenants were removing their outstanding property to say that they would be monitoring the situation.

We have not really had lot of contact with the police, but feel totally reassured that officers such as these have dealt with this matter professionally group of people with officer blueand are a credit to the force. They reassure "average citizens" like us that the system/police force works to protect us and make us feel safe. Thank you all we are very grateful and have been telling other people of our experience.

Very pleased with the service

I reported an incident at first via Twitter, followed up by formally reporting it to 101. Everyone involved in dealing with my issue were professional and polite. I was very pleased with the service and that it was taken seriously.

PCSO Michael Davies, who came to my house was great and I was pleased he phoned first to make sure it was convenient rather than just turning up. Thank you.

Helpful and reassuring

I had an accident on A50 by Britannia Stadium. PC Shawn Chadwick came and covered the road behind us, staying with us until our vehicle was recovered. He followed us to the garage and made sure we could get to the railway station. We found him most helpful and reassuring during this distressing time. I would like to pass on our much felt thanks.
