Should an applicant want to know what information is held about them by Staffordshire Police you can apply for a Subject Access Request.

Previous Convictions

All previous convictions must be declared on the application form when applying for a grant. You are not entitled to withhold information about any offence. This includes motoring offences, convictions in places outside of Great Britain, and (by virtue of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975), convictions which are spent under the 1974 Act. Both a conditional discharge and an absolute discharge count as convictions for this purpose.

FAILURE TO DECLARE CONVICTIONS MAY RESULT IN REFUSAL.

Request for information held on an individual

Should an applicant want to know what information is held about them by Staffordshire Police or want data relating to incidents that they have reported/been involved in, they can apply to Staffordshire Police for a Subject Access Request.
