Nick leads on the following functions:


Following a successful career in the Royal Navy, Nick joined Cheshire Constabulary in 1992, serving in a number of ranks and roles during his 18 years' service with that force. In 2010 Nick transferred to Greater Manchester Police and took command of the Tameside Division, later being appointed as the Commander for the City Division of Manchester.

In March 2015 Nick completed the Senior Command Course and was appointed as Assistant Chief Constable within Staffordshire Police in January 2016.

Nick has responsibility for, all uniformed Local Policing Teams within Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, the Force Control Room, Tactical Support, Operational Services, the Prevent strand of Vulnerability, Volunteers, Diversity and the Civil Contingencies Unit. He has also recently taken on the NPCC Lead for Motorcycles.
