Crackdown tackling the issues affecting people in Tamworth

Seven men have been arrested as part of a major crackdown tackling high threat and harm issues affecting people living in Tamworth.

A number of search warrants took place this morning and a 21-year-old man, from Tamworth, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

Other arrests include a 45-year-old, from Tamworth, on suspicion of possession of indecent images of children, a 27-year-old, from Tamworth, on suspicion of harassment, a 19-year-old and a 21-year-old, both from Birmingham, on suspicion of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine/heroin, an 18-year-year-old, from Birmingham, on suspicion of robbery and a 19-year-old on suspicion of assault grievous bodily harm and a public order offence.
