Man in critical condition after collision in Draycott

Police car behind ambulance

A motorcyclist is in a critical condition after a collision in Draycott, near Blythe Bridge, this evening (Friday 11 January).

Emergency services were called to Uttoxeter Road by the Chandni Cottage restaurant at 5.15pm to reports of a collision involving two cars and a motorcycle.

The man, from Stoke-on-Trent, received serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Stoke

University Hospital by ambulance. His family have been informed.

The drivers of the cars were uninjured.

The road between the Draycott roundabout and Tean is expected to be closed for a number of hours and we would ask people to avoid the area where possible.

Witnesses are asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident 474 of 11 January.
