Local policing teams work with and within their local local communities so they can learn more about the concerns and priorities of the people who live there and can tackle those issues on the ground. They can use their specialist knowledge to offer crime prevention advice, to deal with anti-social behaviour, reduce crime and protect vulnerable people.

I'd like you to take part in a local event I'm planning
This is where you can ask us to attend an event that you are involved in organising, or if you want us to come and speak to a group or meeting.
Examples could include requesting the local policing team to attend a school fete, or where you want us to come and speak to a group of people such as elderly residents in a care home or children at a nursery.
This form should not be used to tell us about crime or antisocial behaviour. You can report crime and report antisocial behaviour online.
While we will make every effort to attend an event, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate every request.
To contact your local policing team about an event you'll need:
- the location of the event
- details about the event, eg dates
