UK Police Memorial in Staffordshire

Staffordshire Police are very proud to help raise funds and awareness of the new UK Police Memorial. It is our honour to be the police force who have the role to protect the National Memorial Arboretum, the important events held there and the particularly to be the home of the new UK Police Memorial.

National Memorial ArboetumThe new UK Police Memorial will honour the dedication, courage and sacrifice of many of the thousands of members of the United Kingdom's police service who have given their lives to serve and protect their communities since the establishment of the world's first recognised police service over 250 years ago.

The memorial will be so much more than a monument at the National Memorial Arboretum, with a new interactive digital feature which will bring the personal stories of those commemorated. Using the latest in digital and mobile technologies, this Memorial will have a dramatic presence online, bringing the personal stories of the fallen to life. It will also include educational resources.

You can find out more about the Memorial here or even become a publically recognised Ambassador who helped fund the memorial, but there are lots of ways of getting involved.

, the Chief Constable of Staffordshire is one of the trustees said "It is an honour to be involved in the development of a new UK Police Memorial and even more so as the memorial will at the National Memorial Arboretum here in Staffordshire."
