We’re looking for our next colleague to help us achieve a safe and confident Staffordshire. If you want a profession that offers rewarding and challenging opportunities in a variety of roles, then a career with Staffordshire Police could be for you.
Around 3,500 colleagues make up Staffordshire Police, comprising around 1750 officers, together with community support officers, police staff and volunteers.
Every role has its purpose and we have a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in our people, within the organisation and in the services we provide to our communities. We want to reflect the communities we serve and one way we can try to achieve this is through a 'positive action' approach.
Positive action is activity which helps employers identify and remove barriers and issues to the recruitment, retention and progression of people who identify with underrepresented groups of the Equalities Act 2010 (i.e. LGBT+, ethnicity, disability), whilst still employing people on merit.

Everything we do is centred on our vision to achieve a safe and confident Staffordshire. We will do this by working together to improve the safety and wellbeing of people, places and communities across Staffordshire.
