Force Management Statement

Staffordshire Police is committed to delivering a service that keeps people safe from harm and protects the most vulnerable.

The changing nature of crime means we must continually assess our ability to do this, as well as our ability to respond to crimes and bring offenders to justice. The annual Force Management Statement (FMS) fulfils the requirements set by Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) to provide an explanation of the demand we face and the resources and ways of working we have in place to respond, both now and in the future.

You can read the Executive Summary of the 2019 Force Management Statement here [298KB] . This provides an overview of the progress we have made since the force produced its first FMS in 2018, the work we are doing and the work we need to do in order to improve our service and make the force resilient for the future.
