Codsall & Bilbrook

These two villages are near the border of Wolverhampton. Both have expanded largely since the Second World War, boosted by job opportunities in the West Midlands.

It is thought that Bilbrook got its name from the Roman word for watercress - 'bil' - that grew in the local brook until recent times.
