Shobnall

Shobnall encompasses much of central and west Burton including the densely populated area around the historic Victorian town hall and is one of the main gateways into Burton along the busy B5017.

The area is proud of its multi-cultural heritage with 37 different nationalities identified as living in the ward.

Shobnall Fields is Burton's main leisure complex and the area also has ample local shops, a mosque, two churches and many business premises. Local industries include the world famous Marston's Brewery.

How we're tackling your issues

Following concerns of speeding in Shobnall Road and Forest Road, regular speed enforcement operations have been carried out by the Neighbourhood Policing Team, the Safety Camera Team, and the Road Policing Team.
Fixed penalty tickets have been issued to offending drivers as appropriate.

Community meetings and events

Neighbourhood policing meetings are open to everyone. They give you the chance to influence what happens in your neighbourhood. At the meetings you can tell your local team about the issues that concern you. Officers will then report back to you at the next meeting about what they've been doing to solve those issues.
