Burton Neighbourhood Policing Unit (NPU) covers the industrial east Staffordshire town of Burton-upon-Trent which is famed for its association with brewing.
Within the NPU there are smaller neighbourhood management areas covering Branston, Horninglow, Shobnall, Stapenhill, Stretton, Tatenhill, Tutbury, Uxbridge, Winshill, the town centre and Wetmore. The town itself is culturally diverse and borders the neighbouring county of Derbyshire and is on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Local police work very closely with colleagues from the local authority, East Staffordshire Borough Council.
