Kidsgrove Neighbourhood Policing Unit (NPU) covers the North Staffordshire town of Kidsgrove, with links to the industrial revolution through mining and the historic Harecastle Canal Tunnel.
The NPU has four neighbourhood management areas and stretches across north west Staffordshire to the borders of Cheshire and Shropshire. It covers the areas of Newchapel, Mow Cop, Talke, Talke Pitts, Audley, Alsagers Bank, Madeley , Baldwins Gate and Loggerheads - to name but a few of the many parishes and villages.
The NPU has strong links with its community groups such as residents associations, youth clubs, local forums, newsletters and websites.
The NPU also works closely with Newcastle Borough Council and Parish Councils as well as many local and national businesses to provide a safe and reassured community.
