Owners of high-value cars are being reminded to safeguard their vehicles following an attempted burglary near Tamworth.
At around 2am today, Tuesday 6 December, offenders put a rod through the letterbox of a home in Moat Drive, Drayton Bassett, in a failed attempt to steal the keys to a Range Rover parked on the drive.
Several similar offences – where valuable vehicles are targeted - have taken place across Staffordshire in recent weeks.
Officers are urging residents to, where possible, keep their cars locked in their garages when at home.
