Police are appealing for witnesses to three burglaries that took place on Monday (1 February 2010) in Essington and Codsall.
At 12:45 three men broke into a house in Mitre Close in Essington and stole a quantity of jewellery. They escaped through the rear of the property and thought to have got into a medium sized black car parked on a car park in Brownshore Lane.
A further burglary in New Landywood Lane in Essington was reported to police at 13:20. Offenders had broken in through a back window of the property and stole electrical items including a computer, X-box and televisions. It is believed the offenders may have parked their vehicle in front of gates to the property.
Just before 3pm offenders tried to break into a house in Codsall Road in Codsall. They escaped empty-handed.
DS Paul Bentley, from Chase CID, said: “We believe these incidents may have been committed by the same people and would urge anyone with any information to contact us.”
The offenders have been described three white males wearing dark clothing and woolly hats.
