Reducing Business Crime

Staffordshire Police are working closely with it's partners in the public and private sectors to reduce Business Crime. However, there is a lot that individual businesses can do to reduce the risk of becoming a victim further.  

Anti-social behaviour

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) covers a very wide range of different types of nuisance which cause harassment, alarm or distress.

Bilking

Bilking is often used to describe a customer 'making off without paying' for goods or a service.

Burglary

Criminal damage

Criminal damage are crimes where a person destroys or damages property belonging to another. The damage caused must be deliberate and permanent to be classed as criminal damage.

Work-related violence is defined as any incident in which a person is abused, threatened or assaulted in circumstances relating to their work.
