Staffordshire Police

Traffic Management Unit (TMU) is responsible for road safety and traffic management issues in the county.

Responsibilities include working with the local highways authorities to keep Staffordshire’s roads safe, road safety audits, dealing with wide loads and road safety initiatives. The team is also responsible for the breath testing equipment used to detect potential drink drive offences throughout the county.
