When an incident occurs at a registered property, the database is utilised to provide vital information to the Police and Emergency Services e.g.

• Who has the keys to the premises?
• are there any preferred contractors should, for example, the premises need securing?
• if there has been a fire or flood where are the stopcocks and electricity inlets?
• what are the ‘keysafe’ codes for the elderly or infirm?
• and to be added in the near future, Who are the next of kin?
