Director of Resources Graham Liddiard
Mr Liddiard joined Staffordshire Police as Director of Finance in June 1997. Previously he was Director of Finance with Warwickshire Constabulary.
He trained as an accountant with the former West Midlands County Council and has experience of financial management in both the public and private sectors. He worked as a consultant for five years and was Management Accountant at Birmingham International Airport for four years. Currently, his areas of responsibility within Staffordshire Police include:
- Financial Services (including payroll and pensions)
- Support Services (including estates, transport, contracts and supplies, printing services, word processing and administrative support) Technology Services (IT and communications)
- Human Resources (resourcing and recruiting, training and employee health and care services).
Mr Liddiard is a civilian member of the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and a member of the Regional ACPO Finance and Resources Committee.
He is also the force’s sponsor on the National Workforce Modernisation Project.
He is a fully qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and a graduate of the University of East Anglia, with a BSc Honours Degree in Environmental Sciences.
Mr Liddiard is married to Isobel and has a boy and a girl.
