Who's who
Staffordshire Police has five chief officers who lead the force from our headquarters in Stafford.
They are supported by four divisional commanders, who are responsible for neighbourhood policing across the county in North Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Chase and Trent Valley divisions.
They are also supported by the Chief Superintendent for Protective Services which covers many specialist services such as our Air Operations Unit, Dog Support, Firearms and Major Investigations.
Chief Constable - Mike Cunningham
Mike Cunningham graduated with a degree in Theology from the University of Durham and became a teacher in 1985.
Deputy Chief Constable - Douglas Paxton
Mr Paxton joined Suffolk Constabulary in 1989 and rose to the rank of Superintendent, serving as Deputy Area Commander for the west of Suffolk.
Assistant Chief Constable - Julian Blazeby
Staffordshire Police Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Julian Blazeby as Assistant Chief Constable.
Assistant Chief Constable - Jane Sawyers
Jane joined Staffordshire Police in 1984 and during her early career served in Stoke, Longton, Newcastle, Lichfield, Tamworth and Cannock.
Director of Resources - Graham Liddiard
Mr Liddiard joined Staffordshire Police as Director of Finance in June 1997
